Victoria Gardens is the jewel in the crown of Neath town centre. It has the classic landscaping of the Victorian urban park. It was
created in 1897 to celebrate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee, with the typical original features of the ornate bandstand. It also
includes a gorsedd circle. This is a Bardic stone circle in which a gathering of bards (or Welsh poets) takes place within. The park
has two acres of lawns, paths and ornamental flower beds, and features concerts during the summer months. Access is from
Neath town centre. It is open all year, free of charge.
