On July 9 , 2007 while strolling along the paths about 1000 feet back in the trees of the Gnoll behind the
main lake , with John O & his daughter Caroline , I was leading us along some of the paths I had hiked 2
days earlier , when I led us down a wrong pathway , by accident. It was there that Caroline discovered
this tree with the initials KJ & LJ carved in it. I don't believe this is coincidence at all , but rather the work
of 2 young girls Katherine & Laura Jenkins years ago while growing up and often frequenting the Gnoll in
their younger years. Speaking to some of the lifelong residents of Neath , it seems that many knew this
tree with the initials existed but no one has ever had photo proof of it till now. Several people have
mentioned that in an interview some time ago that Katherine had mentioned her and Laura carving their
initials in a tree in the Gnoll when they were growing up. I'm 100% sure that this is that very tree.
