Teenage prodigy Becky Taylor was born in London in 1988.

The sixteen-year-old dynamo began singing at the tender age of seven and within the same year played Eponine in a
production of 'Les Miserables' at the west end.

At only eight she entered the Thorndike Theatre Talent Competition and quickly became the competitions youngest finalist.
Left to compete against performers with years of experience and and more than three times her age, Becky charmed the
judges and became the competitions youngest winner!

At ten Becky wasn't slowing down any and won the British Arts Awards, London Final for her startling performance in 'The
Secret Garden.' That year she also made her debut television appearance on the BBC's Blue Peter singing the famed Titanic
love-theme, "My Heart Will Go On."

Becky continued to sing wherever she could but was not content to confine herself to one discipline and exhilarated at
dance and drama. She won numerous awards for them and also attained advanced qualifications in Modern, Tap and Ballet.
She also was a national swimming and netball finalist. She excels at cross-country running, hockey, gymnastics and tennis.

In 2000 EMI Classics received a recording of Becky's voice and so to speak the rest is history. EMI immediately offered Becky
an exclusive recording deal and signed her as their youngest artist ever. In one sweep joining the ranks of singers like
world famous opera singer Kiri Te Kanawa.

EMI's producer Stephen Johns says, "When you hear Becky sing you simply cannot believe she's only 12 years old. This
voice is extraordinary - there is no other word to describe it. It's completely unaffected and is one of the most natural voices
I have ever come across."

Within a month Becky began recording her debut album.

Soon afterwards Becky performed at the Royal Albert Hall at a benefit concert for Farm Aid. She charmed an audience of
5,000 with "Once Upon a December," from Anastasia. Her debut single was released at the same time.

Becky's debut album, A Dream Come True was released in early summer 2001 and was an immediate success both in the UK
and internationally. This was followed by a Christmas single You Can Be A Hero, which was especially written for Becky and
featured in BBC1's Christmas animation 'Second Star To the Left'. Becky is also a featured artist on Mattel’s highly successful
video/DVD, ‘Barbie as Rapunzel’.

Becky has continued to perform in England and abroad, taking part in José Carreras’s Christmas concert at the Royal Albert
Hall in December 2002 with guest artist Claire Sweeney and performing before H.R.H Princess Royal for the Save the
Children Fund’s annual concert.

Becky released her second album with EMI, produced and arranged by Tolga Kashif and Simon Hanhart. "Shine" features
Becky singing a poppier style and shows off her maturing vocals.

It is certain that something even greater lies in Becky's future. Her talent for acting and singing will in time bring her the
fame and fans that belonged to the likes of Julie Andrews and Charlotte Church.

Someday Becky Taylor will be a superstar.
